Psychotherapist
4848 Lakeview Ave, #201B, Yorba Linda, CA
As a therapist specializing in anxiety and trauma, I work with high-achieving adults, many of them first-generation, and bicultural, who are navigating the invisible weight of patterns handed down long before they entered any college, classroom, or family dinner table. I have 8+ years in experience with working with adults experiencing anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, and trauma. You may be managing a lot on the outside career, responsibilities, expectations while internally feeling overwhelmed, on edge, or disconnected. Anxiety that doesn’t turn off, difficulty slowing down, or feeling constantly on alert can be signs your mind and body are still responding to what you’ve been through. I also help clients heal from trauma by supporting them in feeling more grounded, present, and at peace in their daily lives. Rather than pushing past what’s happened, we move at a pace that allows your mind and body to feel safe enough to process it. My approach is trauma-informed and integrative. I use EMDR to help the brain reprocess uncomfortable experiences, CBP to gently challenge patterns of thinking that keep you stuck, and parts work to understand the different aspects of you that developed to deal with what happened to you. Throughout this process, we focus on building grounding skills so you can feel more in control of your emotions, not overwhelmed by them.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I'm warm, direct, and culturally aware. I collaborative with you being the expert of knowing what best is for you, while guiding you towards your desire outcomes. I aim to create a space where you don’t have to explain your background to feel understood, while also gently challenging patterns that may be keeping you stuck.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our sessions, we slow down—which, for high achievers, is often the hardest and most necessary thing. We’ll make space not only for what’s happening now, but for the parts of your story that may have been overlooked or pushed aside. Because healing isn’t about pushing through, it’s about understanding, processing, and creating new ways of relating to yourself. If you’re ready to feel more present, balanced, and connected to yourself, I invite you to schedule a free consultation to discuss next steps.
