Hi, I’m Gemma. I’m an EMDR-trained therapist who helps adults navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, panic, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel understood, accepted, and empowered to make meaningful changes in your life.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I use a collaborative, person-centered approach and integrate EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) based on your individual needs and goals. Together, we’ll work to understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, process difficult experiences, and develop practical tools to help you feel more grounded and confident in your daily life. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in a variety of helping professions and have experience across inpatient, correctional, and community mental health settings. These experiences have strengthened my belief that healing happens through connection, safety, and feeling genuinely seen. I have a particular interest in trauma, dissociation, emotional regulation, self-worth, and helping clients reconnect with themselves after difficult life experiences.
