Getting to know Genevieve Kim

Hi, I'm Genevieve. Are you feeling stuck, stressed, anxious, or depressed? Maybe you're struggling with a relationship, life transition, or past trauma. If you want to move toward a place of wholeness and healing, meeting with me may be the nudge you need. Sometimes we need the professional help of someone outside our family and friends to help us process what exactly is going on. I hold a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Argosy University, and I consider it a true honor when invited to journey alongside others toward restoration and well-being. I find that the most effective way to meet my clients is through a holistic, integrative approach addressing the mind, body, and spirit (if you consider yourself a spiritual person). Whether it is something you are trying to resolve within yourself or with another person, I would love to meet with you wherever you are in your journey. Know that when we meet, there is no room for judgment, only empathy and compassion. It would be my pleasure and honor to provide insight and a safe space for you to work things out.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Our first session will look a little different than our usual sessions in that I will be asking more questions to gather more information and personal history in order to get to know you better. We will come up with a few goals you would like us to work towards in our work together. From there, you are welcome to come to sessions with whatever is on your mind that you are needing help process and I may follow-up on certain situations or issues as they relate to our goals. You can expect to take away healthy and effective tools to better manage your everyday stressors (e.g.: conflict resolution) so you can achieve the goals you identified in the beginning of our time.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
