Genna Power, LCSW

Psychotherapist
IL
Hi there My name is Genna and Im a licensed clinical social worker who believes in creating a space where people can slow down, breathe, and feel seen. My work is grounded in compassion and connection. I help individuals navigate grief, caregiving, and life transitions with gentleness and understanding. Ive spent my career walking alongside people through the tender and uncertain parts of life, helping them find meaning, steadiness, and selfcompassion along the way. Im someone who values presence, authenticity, and meeting you exactly where you are. My approach is calm and relational, shaped by years of supporting others through moments of loss, change, and rediscovery. I believe healing happens in relationship with ourselves, with others, and with the life were continuing to build after hardship. At the heart of my work is a deep respect for the human experience and the belief that even in our most painful seasons, growth and hope are still possible. My goal is to offer a space where you can feel supported, understood, and connected to what matters most to you.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
