“I went back to therapy because I needed guidance and support to work through issues that I have been having and my therapist has helped me work through many issues and when a new issue comes up I can easily work through my issues in a safe environment and am able to have a non biased perspective and have healthy emotional stability and boundaries in my every day life. I highly recommend my therapist to anyone who is needing support or just need someone to talk to that can listen openly.”

“Geoffrey has been a great therapist for my son. There share a lot of interests, so it made it easier for my son to open up to him and discuss issues that he struggles with since they have that connection. Geoffrey has also been very flexible with times for sessions and keeps us informed. He also does a great job reframing things my son struggles with in a relatable way, so that my son can learn how to handle difficult feelings and situations.”

Getting to know Geoffrey Griffith

The thought of therapy can be scary for some, but I am here to help you find and use tools that work best for you. I believe clients are the experts of their own lives and have the ability to achieve their goals. I work with populations including youth, adults, couples, and families. I am glad to listen and provide a safe and supportive space. My approach I start with a client-centered approach to help individuals feel safe and empowered to grow to become their best selves. I adapt to best fit each individual's personality and circumstances. We will work together to pursue your goals and needs. My focus I have worked with many clients through grief, couples work, complex trauma, and transitions in life. I have worked with clients as young as five and as old as eighty-five. No matter the client, I focus on who you are as an individual and to help you grow. My communication style I provide an environment for clients to tell their stories in a safe, non-judgemental space. I achieve this by active listening and providing opportunities for discussion and reflection. Open communication is important so we are able to understand one another. My journey to mental healthcare Throughout life, I discovered just how powerful a simple, compassionate action can be for someone in need. From many experiences, I discovered a passion for walking with people through their emotions and meeting them where they are at. I love being able to play a part in someone's story, especially when it involves life's toughest moments. My goals for you I help clients reach their goals by validating their experiences, identifying their emotions, and providing techniques and strategies for each individual. As we continue to dive deeper, we will unravel more insight into your experiences and how they brought you to where you are today.
