What should a new client know about working with you?

I am passionate about helping people improve their journey, create positive relationships, and foster their own empowerment. Trauma can affect us in many ways and can often feel like a process that is never ending. Through it all, it is important to remember that you have power within yourself and deserve to feel better. There are many ways to overcome this and create the life you want. My hope is that I can support you as you are finding your way through to the other side of trauma. One of my favorite quotes is from Viktor Frankl's book Man’s Search for Meaning: “Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.” We often forget that we always have the power within ourselves. To me, it seems that this is where a lot of our internal struggles come from. We are all on journeys through life, with our own lessons we have to learn. Through these, we find our meaning and choose our own way. Sometimes, we just need a little reminder that the power lies within us. I am always honored to have the ability to be part of my clients’ journeys and to be able to give them the space to find their own way.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Through my counseling services, I'll work with you to develop a holistic treatment plan addressing your specific needs and goals. During your sessions, we will re-evaluate your plan to ensure that you are getting the outcome that you are looking for.
