Hi, I am Geralynn Barney. I have been a licensed therapist for 20 years, licensed in Utah and Florida. I received my Bachelor's degree from Utah State University and my Master's in Social Work from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Life can be difficult to navigate, and we can all use help sometimes. Working with an experienced, licensed therapist can make a difference. I am an LGBTQIA-affirming therapist and have experience working with PFLAG, as well as lobbying local politicians to support Gay-Straight Alliance clubs in our high schools. I have worked with individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, self-esteem issues, women’s issues, physical health challenges, and victims of interpersonal violence. I focus on building a strong relationship with my clients to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where they can process their experiences and emotions. I utilize evidence-based modalities and practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy. I look forward to working with you.
