Getting to know Giancarlo Simpson
Many of us navigate the world using the survival skills we learned in childhood. We often grew up learning to view and interact with the world in ways that made us feel safe. Now, some of these survival styles hinder us from building deeper connections with others and ourselves. Our marriages become challenging, family interactions feel superficial, and we often feel the need to be vulnerable but don't, out of fear of judgment. This stops us from connecting with others, establishing boundaries, and making better decisions. With a Bachelor's degree from Florida International University and a Master's in Clinical Counseling and Applied Psychology from Lynn University, I am dedicated to helping individuals recognize and move beyond these survival patterns to foster genuine connection and personal growth.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I will provide you with the space to explore generational patterns that have benefitted and hindered you. In doing so, you will acquire the knowledge to overcome your anxiety, depression, and other life obstacles. I will help you reframe your understanding of vulnerability and see it as a strength and not a weakness. It is time to be different!

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
