Getting to know Giannina Del Rio
Hello, my name is Giannina, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than 20 years of experience. I am a firm believer that any individual with the right tools can overcome any type of challenge in their life; that is why my trademark is "Steer towards hope." I am committed and very passionate about helping clients find the hope they need to move forward.
I earned my Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Albizu University, which has equipped me with a strong foundation to support my clients effectively.
Throughout my many years of working with individuals, families, and couples, I guide my clients to break patterns and vicious cycles of depression, low self-esteem, relationship conflicts, various addictions, fear, grief, and anxiety, among other trials that life brings our way.
To meet my clients' needs in the best way possible, my approach to therapy is humanistic, integrative, and evidence-based. The treatments I provide mainly consist of CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
I can only tell you that this journey, in which we will focus on your strengths, the solutions-not the problems-and reaching your full potential, will make all the difference in your life.

Clients can expect to walk away with answers and solutions to help them overcome those challenges that prevent them from reaching their full potential. Clients that find themselves imprisoned by their fears will find the hope to move forward.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
