I understand that starting psychotherapy can feel both exciting and intimidating. I strive to create a therapeutic environment that is safe and nurturing to help you work through your challenges. My approach is strengths-based, honoring and respecting your unique thoughts, feelings, and experiences. My role is to assist you in making positive changes that align with your values and beliefs.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been practicing since 1993. I specialize in treating adults, adolescents, and families who have experienced trauma. Additionally, I have extensive experience working with mood disorders, relationship issues, and family problems. I hold an undergraduate degree in Humanities from Holy Names University in Oakland, CA, and a Master's in Social Work from California State University, Long Beach.
