What should a new client know about working with you?

My style is warm, inviting, curious, and collaborative, with just the right amount of gentle challenge. Clients often describe therapy as supportive, insightful, and a place where they feel truly heard. I believe healing begins with understanding your experience while also creating space to explore new perspectives, recognize patterns, and discover strengths you may not yet see in yourself. Humor often finds its way into sessions, too—I believe growth doesn’t have to happen without moments of lightness. In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know one another, discussing what brings you to therapy, exploring your history, and identifying what you hope to gain from our work together. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, supported, and understood from the very beginning. When appropriate, I may suggest between-session practices such as mindfulness, journaling, movement, or other small, manageable ways to reinforce the work we’re doing together.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I believe healing is a collaborative, ever-evolving process that involves much more than simply reducing symptoms. My work is grounded in person-centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness, helping clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing tools to feel more grounded and connected. I also bring a holistic perspective to therapy, recognizing the important role that movement, relationships, physical health, environment, and a sense of purpose all play in emotional well-being. My background includes training in holistic health coaching, food and mental health, stress management, burnout, and crisis response.
