Getting to know Ginamarie Francolino

Hello, my name is Gina Francolino, and I am glad you are here. There is no doubt to me that it requires courage to start counseling, and I don’t take for granted the time you are finding to take care of yourself. I am here to offer compassionate therapeutic support if you find you are navigating through stress, life transitions, grief, or loss. I have worked in a variety of clinical settings over the last 10 years offering therapy services to adults, children, and families specializing in grief and loss counseling, backed by continued training in trauma-informed modalities and overall care. My approach to therapy is to foster a therapeutic alliance with my clients that allows for a collaborative relationship, with awareness that you are the expert in your life. Session time will be focused on alleviating emotional stress and burden through processing and finding the right tools to support the goals you have in mind. I graduated from Stetson University (B.M. 2011, M.S. 2015) and am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida as well as a Board Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor with the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC). When I’m not working, I enjoy being in nature and am kept quite busy chasing after our 1-year-old son. I am also a full-time student at the University of Central Florida, getting my Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision.
