Hi! I am a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I speak both English and Spanish. I come from a Hispanic culture. I am native to the west Texas area. I received my Masters degree at West Texas A&M University in 2020. I have a background in working with individual counseling, couples counseling, family counseling, teen counseling, and group counseling. I have an experience in working with nonprofit agencies, and a psychiatric hospital in Texas. I enjoy working with teenagers and adults both. My main focus is to work with the issues that my clients are struggling with. I have experience in assisting clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, Grief and life changes. I want my clients to feel safe when coming into a therapy session with me. I strive to make therapy be something people look forward to, rather than it be something that leads to emotions of anxiety or fear. Therapy is scary and it is hard, but I will try my best with each client to make them feel heard and seen. I will assign homework in between sessions and this will look different for each client depending on their current issues. After assigning homework, we can review it and follow up in the next session. The reason for this, is because therapy does not end in the therapy session, rather it is something that is practiced within the home as well.
