Giselle Dejean, LCSW

Psychotherapist
MA
I am a person-centered therapist who prioritizes creating a supportive and empathetic space for my clients. With a Master's in Social Work from Fordham University, I focus on helping clients explore their thoughts and emotions at their own pace, empowering them to achieve their identified goals through self-discovery and personal growth. My clients can expect a safe, nonjudgmental, and supportive environment where they feel heard and valued. I work collaboratively with them to identify their goals and tailor the therapeutic process to meet their unique needs. Sessions encourage self-reflection, build on strengths, and provide practical tools for overcoming challenges. Through our work together, clients gain insights, develop coping strategies, and experience growth that empowers them to make meaningful progress toward their goals. Above all, they can count on a therapeutic relationship based on trust, empathy, and respect.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
