Giuseppe Malfi, LPC

Psychotherapist
WI
Hi there, I'm Giuseppe! Hello, my name is Giuseppe Malfi, but you can call me Joe. I am a Wisconsin Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and certified under the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC). I have also been licensed as a clinical therapist in New York State and Minnesota. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from North Carolina State University. My approach to therapy is to come as you are—I’ll meet you there, and we will work together to get you where you want to be. Being well-rounded in many aspects of counseling and therapy has made me very approachable, and I have found my calling in helping those with varying mental health needs. My approach My approach to therapy is a “whole person” focused approach where I connect with clients to understand their struggles and goals, becoming a partner in their mental health care. My background is diverse, having grown up in New York City and completed trainings in forensics, neuropsychology, neuropsychiatry, evidence-based therapy, somatic counseling, mindfulness, and eastern and western philosophy. These experiences enable me to blend an interdisciplinary counseling approach encompassing biological, psychological, social, cultural, genetic, epigenetic, spiritual, and behavioral attributes to custom-tailor an individualized approach based on each client’s needs. My focus I enjoy helping clients work through various concerns including traumas, chronic health conditions, traumatic brain injuries, combat military veterans, first responders, EMS, law enforcement, firefighters, nurses, frontline healthcare workers, and individuals with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other mental health concerns. I work with teens and adults. I have found that telehealth benefits teens ages 13 and up, and adults.
