Getting to know Glen Marsey

Hello, I'm Glen, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 30 years of experience in the field. I hold a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Lindenwood University and obtained my LCSW licensure in 1991. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working in various areas of counseling, including supporting at-risk adolescents, and helping both victims and perpetrators of physical and sexual abuse. My experience also spans addiction, gambling, anxiety, depression, and trauma, among others. My counseling style is deeply personal, and I believe in the motto, “we will learn together.” I utilize a multi-modal approach, incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy, reality therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy to tailor our sessions to your unique needs and goals. I firmly believe that therapy is a collaborative journey where understanding you as an individual is paramount. Building a trusting therapeutic relationship is the cornerstone of my practice, allowing us to create a personalized plan that addresses your specific concerns and aspirations. In my practice, I see my clients as real people with real concerns. My goal is to guide you in taking responsibility for making positive changes in your behavior, which will benefit you, your relationships, and foster continued personal growth. I look forward to learning and growing with you.
