Mrs. Baxter is known for her dynamic workshop facilitation on various topics, Depression and Anxiety, marriage, troubled teens, parenting and Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome. Gloria J. Baxter is the co-author of a publication entitled Guidelines to Services for Asian Youth and Families. She received a proclamation from Redwood City for outstanding work in the community and in the Redwood City Family Centers. Ms. Baxter is the President of the Board of Directors of Ujima Adult and Family Services. In addition, she is the Executive Director of the Lighthouse of Hope Counseling Center and currently serves as a Field Instructor for Interns both graduate and undergraduate at San Jose State University, and Cal State East Bay. Ms. Baxter has also received the Special Merit Award from the Human Relations Commission for her volunteer work in the community. “My mission is to assist people in examining their issues, while learning to make choices and decisions that will support them and their families in becoming physically, mentally, and spiritually healthy.”

You will need to enter your insurance and payment information to confirm your appointment.During your initial consultation we will craft a treatment plan personalized to your needs, and schedule follow-up appointments as needed. You will also be able message me directly at anytime via the messaging section of your Brightside Health portal - a tool where will also track your progress, access resources, and see your treatment plan details.*Please note: If you are looking for ADHD care, I do not prescribe controlled medications like Adderall or Ritalin. However, we can support you with therapy and other medications commonly used in ADHD treatment, such as Strattera and Intuniv.*
