What should a new client know about working with you?

I bring 26 years of experience in child protection, encompassing work with children and families involved in foster care, juvenile detention, and residential care. My expertise covers a range of complex issues, including substance use, intimate partner violence, support for the LGBT community, and educational needs. I have also served as a mentor to colleagues in the field. My therapeutic approach centers on creating a safe and confidential space to address your needs and guide you toward building confidence. We will collaborate to take small, necessary steps to foster positive thinking, utilize your inherent strengths, and encourage continuous growth. My goal is to help you begin a healthy and enlightening journey toward making the most of your life.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

We first will perform a 15–20-minute mental health consultation through Zocdoc to determine fit within the practice. From there we will send you forms so we can set up an intake evaluation and ongoing sessions. We do not provide medication management. **Please allow me 24-48 hours to respond when scheduling a consultation**
