While choosing therapy can be challenging, it is well worth the effort. I desire for every person seeking counseling to find the best version of themselves and not allow pain, heartache, trauma, or the bad decision of one moment to define their life. I hope you realize that the struggle, the painful place, the trauma is just a chapter, a page, a stanza-not the entirety of the story. Everyone deserves the opportunity to seek better, to find healing, to grow, to change, and to discover restoration. Each person determines daily how to walk out their lives and write the pages of their narrative. None of it will be easy, but be sure it's worth the read. I am honored that you considered me. Healthy individuals create secure marriages, making for strong, healthy families, which positively impact the community and the world. However, this starts with an individual who is emotionally, mentally, and spiritually healthy. I am here to help on that journey as a licensed marriage and family therapist with a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University. I began my career working with youth and families, including neglected, abused, delinquent, and homeless youth, as well as families striving for reunification. Additionally, I have worked with senior citizens seeking to maintain independence and access resources to aid in this regard. I transitioned to counseling over seven years ago and have found my calling. I am a Jesus lover and a lover of people, which spills over into my passion for counseling. Every person authors their own story, and I would love to join you in helping to script pages toward a better tomorrow.
