Getting to know Grace McCauley
As a Clinical Social Worker since 2000, with a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Kansas, my objective is to assist individuals in navigating life while providing support in developing healthy coping skills along the way. We will work together to identify new and existing personal strengths, exploring your goals in order to create a viable plan to aid in measurable growth through health and wellness challenges. In addition to my private practice, which I opened in 2003, my background includes employment as Adolescent Emergency Shelter Director, School Counselor, Hospice and Hospital Palliative Care LCSW, and Bereavement Coordinator.
What should a new client know about working with you?
The initial session will be an opportunity to begin the process of gaining insight into the coping skills that are working, as well as those that are not, in a safe environment. In the sessions which follow we will work together to explore healthy adaptive skills to cope with the life's transitions, based on your needs.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
