Hi there, I'm Grace! Hello, my name is Grace Usigbe. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with over 10 years of experience in behavioral health. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from California Baptist University. I am committed to helping families and individuals overcome life’s struggles collaboratively. My approach The needs and expectations of each client are always the focus. Using a whole-person approach, we collaboratively explore tools to find solutions. I offer a brief solution-focused approach, concentrating on the here and now. Common interventions I use include Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and others as needed. My focus I work primarily with adolescents, adults, and families. My goal is to help them overcome life’s struggles collaboratively. I support clients dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, family conflicts, work stressors, and relational conflicts. My communication style Clients are made to feel comfortable entering therapy. Together, we identify areas needing change or growth. I empower clients to actively participate and confront negative thoughts fueling their symptoms. Clients are encouraged to reflect and take ownership of their growth during therapy and beyond. My journey to mental healthcare I have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people struggling with mental health issues, relational conflicts, and stressors that inhibit optimal daily functioning.
