Grace Welply, LPC

Psychotherapist
TX
As a therapist, I strive to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for my clients to work toward their goals and improve their overall quality of life. It's a collaborative relationship where I am there to support and guide clients in changing behaviors to meet their needs and aspirations. I truly believe that I learn just as much from my clients as they do from me. I'd like to be there for you when you need an extra push of support and guidance, working through your concerns and needs together. I navigate therapy using the frameworks of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered, and Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy; this approach helps me objectively see the world through my clients' eyes and identify the root of the issue so we can get you back to feeling like your best self. I earned my B.A. in Psychology from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, where I developed a passion for mental health awareness and student safety. This passion continued as I completed my M.S. in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling at the same university. I have worked in inpatient facilities for the past six years and am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Texas. When I'm not helping others, I enjoy traveling, gardening, cooking, and watching Christmas movies-any time of the year.
