Hi, I’m Granada Watson, an Associate Professional Counselor (APC) in Georgia. I’m passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and young adults as they navigate life’s challenges and discover their strengths. I earned both my Education Specialist (Ed.S.) and Master of Education (M.Ed.) degrees in Professional School Counseling from The University of Georgia. My advanced training focused on academic, social-emotional, and career development, as well as crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, and comprehensive counseling program development. Through my graduate training and professional experience, I have worked extensively with children, teens, and families in school and community settings. I have supported clients facing anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, peer and relationship issues, academic stress, behavioral concerns, life transitions, and family conflict. I have experience conducting individual and group counseling sessions, developing personalized intervention plans, collaborating with families and educators, and providing crisis support during high-stress situations. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based. I believe every client has resilience within them, and my role is to help you recognize and build upon it. I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused techniques, and person-centered therapy to tailor sessions to your unique needs and goals. Through Wellnite, I strive to create a safe, supportive, and culturally responsive environment where you feel heard, valued, and empowered. Whether you’re working through anxiety, adjusting to a new phase of life, or seeking tools to better manage stress, I am here to walk alongside you.
