What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable being yourself and know you have someone in your corner. My approach is supportive, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I’ll meet you where you are while also helping you identify patterns, build practical coping skills, and work toward meaningful change. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy we can work together to understand what’s been feeling difficult and find strategies that fit you and your life. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported while also helping you move forward.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I start by getting to know you, what brings you to therapy, and what you hope to get out of our work together. From there, we’ll identify goals and work collaboratively to better understand the challenges you’re facing. Sessions may include exploring thoughts, emotions, relationships, and patterns while also building practical coping skills you can use outside of therapy. I believe therapy should be individualized, so we’ll adjust our approach based on what works best for you. Along the way, we’ll check in on your progress and make sure therapy continues to feel helpful and aligned with your goals.
