Inspired by effective counseling and mind/body self-care practices, Mr. Schenkel made the life-changing decision to leave his career as an attorney to share these valuable methods with others. He believes in listening to each individual and curating a partnership to maintain and improve lifelong health. He also helps people develop practical coping strategies to manage their challenges more effectively. Mr. Schenkel graduated from Indiana University Bloomington with a juris doctor degree and a master's degree in social work from the University of South Carolina. He is a member of the National Association of Social Workers. His training and experience help him provide top-quality care to all his patients.

I have the deepest respect for each person & their goals for therapy. I respect all viewpoints, faiths, and abilities.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I put each person in charge of their therapy, though we are required to arrive at a treatment diagnosis by the end of our first session.
