Psychotherapist
WI
Reaching out to a therapist feels like the first time in a bathing suit after a long winter on the couch. Yes, it's scary, but it can also be transformative. When we are struggling in life, feeling stuck, hurt, confused, or alone, we all deserve a place to talk with someone who will not judge or shame us, but instead walk alongside us to create change, grow, heal, and come into more fullness in ourselves and our relationships. I hold a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater, which equips me to support you through these challenges with empathy and expertise.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach is holistic, collaborative and strength-based. As a therapist, I am warm, open, encouraging & direct. My most important task for clients is that they use therapy as a tool to gain enough insight and coping skills to think, feel, and behave in such a way that feels genuine and authentic to them.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The biggest healing factor in therapy is the relationship you have with your therapist! We will talk about what brings you to therapy, gather a brief history related to the issues that you are struggling with and discuss any concerns you may have. I will provide you with information about my training, experience and what the process of therapy looks like. All your information is secure and confidential, and will never be shared. Lastly, I will go over scheduling and financial policies with you. ?
