Ms. Blackett-Sullivan specializes in substance abuse, grief, sexual assault, PTSD, domestic violence, and serves diverse mental health populations. She has supported families dealing with crisis intervention, disabilities, and trauma. She utilizes various evidence-based and client-centered approaches aimed at facilitating growth, healing, change, and teaching coping skills.
Gwen graduated from John Jay College of Criminal Justice of The City University of New York with a Master's degree in forensic psychology and from Herbert H. Lehman College of The City University of New York with a Master's degree in special education. She is certified in New York State as a teacher of both elementary and special education and is also certified as an educational administrator at both the school and district levels. Gwen completed a post-master's advanced certification in clinical mental health counseling from Medaille College in Buffalo, New York, and completed a post-master's educational administration licensure program at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in North Adams.
