In addition, Haley traveled to Goa, India in 2019 to obtain her 200hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification. She pulls from that experience to support the use of mindfulness and somatic therapy when it best fits a client. Haley started her work in the helping profession as a Wilderness Therapy Guide for Summit Achievement in Stowe, ME, where she went backpacking in the white mountains with teens dealing with mental health issues. While in graduate school she worked as an Applied Behavioral Analysis technician, working with young children. Haley completed her graduate school internships as a school counselor at Boston Green Academy and as an outpatient therapist at Doc Wayne Youth Services. In her spare time, Haley enjoys hiking with her dogs, crocheting, swimming, doing yoga, thrifting at consignment shops, and spending time with family and friends.
