I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC). As a therapist, I am passionate about fostering genuine connections and supporting individuals on their journey towards self-discovery. Taking the first step is scary, and I am proud of you for doing it! I believe in the power of empathy, compassion, and creating a non-judgmental space for clients to explore their experiences. My approach My approach is rooted in a strengths-based perspective, empowering clients to discover their inner resources and build confidence, as well as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) to help them identify and reshape unhelpful thought patterns, and Mindfulness Therapy. My focus Have you been struggling with anxious thoughts, negative self-doubt, depression, gender issues, and/or behavioral issues? I work with children, teens, young adult,s and adults who are managing anxiety, depression, life transitions and those seeking support for self-esteem. My communication style My communication style is clear, calm, caring, and patient. I will provide you with active listening, reflective responses, support, and a non-judgmental environment. My journey to mental healthcare Growing up, I knew I wanted to do something that was rewarding and help others. It wasn't until undergraduate school at Southern New Hampshire University that I changed my focus from Education to Psychology, and then went on to graduate school at Merrimack College, where I obtained my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have been practicing since 2019 and have experience working in outpatient settings, residential settings, and school settings. Therapy is a courageous step toward healing and I am honored to walk with you on this path. My goal is to help you feel seen, heard and empowered.
