What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients that I see often report the following concerns: hurtful patterns that keep recurring, reactions to triggers that seem automatic and outside their control, boundaries that are difficult to keep, and/or stories of themselves that keep circulating in their head - even if they are untrue or hurtful. They want differently for themselves in such a deep way, but they aren't sure how to create the change and make it long-lasting. Traumas from their past might keep echoing in the present. Or they find themselves resentful or unhappy with their current relationships. ALL of these things can be improved. With work.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first few sessions will be spent with us exploring your past, your experiences, your thoughts, and your feelings. This helps me really get to know you and allows you to feel more comfortable with me. I encourage my clients to share as much as they are comfortable sharing, and relax knowing that I will never be judgmental with anything they share.
