Getting to know Hannah Cooper

I specialize in helping individuals navigate challenges such as mood and anxiety disorders, life transitions, difficult relationships, grief and loss, or simply those seeking a space for self-reflection, personal growth, and emotional processing. I hold a Master's in Clinical Social Work from Loyola University Chicago, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support my clients effectively. At the heart of my practice is an authentic therapeutic relationship. I take the time to connect with my clients, understand their unique experiences, and build a foundation of trust and collaboration that fosters meaningful growth and positive change.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I use a combination of evidence-based treatment strategies, psychodynamic techniques and themes of strengths, motivation, compassion and mindfulness in my practice. My approach is not a "one-size-fits-all", rather, the strategies and interventions I select to utilize are based on my client's individual personalities and therapeutic goals. We will take time to get to know each other, build trust and rapport before diving into the hard part of therapy. I believe that everyone has the power to create meaningful change in their lives, and therapy can serve as the catalyst to help you get started. It would be my privilege to support you in this process. Reach out today and together, we can build momentum towards the changes you desire.
