I’m not sure how you found me, but I’m glad you’re here. Feelings of stress, anxiety, depression, and grief are part of life, but when they begin to interfere with daily life or relationships, it may be time to connect and seek support. I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology, where I also earned my Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations. After completing my undergraduate studies, I spent four years working in PR within the entertainment and nonprofit industries. This experience gave me an understanding of the many stresses intense careers can cause and the importance of developing coping skills, strong interpersonal communication, and emotional intelligence to maintain healthy well-being and thrive in a fast-paced workplace. My experience working in eating disorder day treatment (PHP/IOP) has made me passionate about exploring complex relationships with food, body, and movement. I enjoy supporting individuals struggling with disordered eating using Health At Every Size and Intuitive Eating perspectives. We will examine the underlying issues and maladaptive beliefs that perpetuate your eating disorder and work on healing your relationship with yourself. As a therapist and a human, I believe that everyone makes sense within their context of lived experiences, and through understanding those experiences, we can cultivate insight and compassion as a foundation for change. I take a trauma-informed, relationally oriented approach to therapy and prioritize collaboration with my clients to help them meet their goals. I am committed to creating an inclusive environment in my practice. When I’m not in session or engaging in continuing education, you can find me outside enjoying the Southern California sunshine with my husband, daughter, and Golden Retriever or reading fiction while cuddling with my cat.
