Getting to know Hannah Gordon

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate. I have a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Colorado State University and a Master’s in Professional Mental Health Counseling from Lewis & Clark College. My orientation is influenced by modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative Therapy. Additionally, my orientation centers on the relationship between us as counselor and client. I emphasize a strengths-based approach. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, grief, interpersonal issues, transitional issues, and trauma. I enjoy working with youth ranging from elementary to pre-teens to teens as well as young adults. I believe that you are the expert of your lived experience. I hope to create an authentic space where you feel welcome to share your story. Through collaboration we will identify your goals and explore changes you can implement to achieve those goals.
