“My time with Hannah has been absolutely incredible. I feel so seen and heard. I have a lot of issues finding the right therapist, and she really helped me figure out what style of therapy works for my mix of mental health and had a lot of tools under her belt to actually fine tune my therapy with her. She’s a one size fits all therapist, but not because of some general type of therapy. She’s offers so much and is extremely helpful. It was also really easy to open up with her, and I struggle with this so much. Her schedule was easy for me to work with, and she is pretty good at working something out if the books aren’t what I need. In all, I just can’t recommend someone enough. I actually look forward to seeing her for my sessions, and anyone in therapy knows that’s invaluable. ”

Getting to know Hannah Nestor

I work with teens and adults navigating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and life transitions. I take a compassionate, person-centered approach to therapy, creating a space where clients feel safe, understood, and supported. Using EMDR therapy, DBT skills, and expressive techniques, I help clients process painful experiences, navigate life’s waves, and move toward lasting healing, regulation, and growth.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and deeply person-centered. I believe healing begins within a space where clients feel emotionally safe enough to explore difficult experiences without fear of judgment. Using EMDR therapy, DBT-informed skills, and expressive techniques, I help clients better understand their emotions, build resilience, and process experiences that may feel overwhelming or unresolved. My work is grounded in helping teens and adults move toward greater regulation, self-awareness, and lasting emotional growth at a pace that feels supportive and sustainable.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

First session (Intake) will include covering confidentiality, policies and learning all about each other. I believe therapy is political, and will answer questions you need to know to feel safe with me. Secondly, we will go over your needs, scheduling and begin forming our treatment goals and go over past history of diagnosis'. General session, we will continue to build relationship and safety as you continue to tell me more about your needs and experiences while building coping skills, techniques and using tools to help you. EMDR session- This is a type of therapy which requires additional training that not all therapists have. In these sessions, we go through 8 different steps to help you resolve any trauma/stress that may be impacting your level of wellbeing.
