Hello, I am Hannah Porterfield!
I am a Licensed Master's Social Worker with 5 years of experience providing mental health, addiction, individual, family, and group counseling to clients in need.
I earned both my Bachelor’s of Social Work and Master’s in Social Work from Indiana University. I’ve worked in various clinical settings ever since. I am a passionate and empathetic therapist with strong counseling abilities and a unique understanding of interpersonal, familial, and non-familial relationships. I have experience leading clients through various mental health diagnoses for themselves and their children, as well as substance use needs, child welfare concerns, grief and loss, generational trauma, and much more! Through my clinical experience, compassion, and competence, I support and assist all people willing to make a positive change in their lives. I will provide you a safe, supportive space and work alongside you to overcome life’s obstacles and barriers. We all have them!
I specialize in trauma-informed care, restorative practices, cognitive behavior therapy, behavior modification, and motivational interviewing, among other areas. As your provider, I will remain fully committed to listening and offering my best professional practices to help you.
