I came to the U.S. in 1996 from South Korea to study counseling psychology. I believe that we all have our abnormalities and vulnerabilities to some extent, but we can become better and healthier people if we choose to. With over 27 years of experience in pastoral care and mental health counseling, I am committed to providing respectful and client-centered counseling. I have worked with diverse individuals and couples of various ages, cultures, ethnicities, racial identities, and socioeconomic statuses. As an integrative mental health provider, I use a wide variety of therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, EMDR/BLST, Mindfulness, HeartMath techniques, and IFS. I believe that we each have an inner healer, and together we can start a journey towards a new and healthy life. Let's work together to make your treatment here a pleasant and rewarding experience.
