Getting to know Harleen Paul

We have all had moments when we felt the need to talk to someone. Deciding to start therapy is one of the hardest and bravest steps to take, and I applaud you for doing so. As your counselor, I will strive to help you reach the clarity you may be seeking and guide you through your challenges. I use a person-centered approach, meaning my priority will always be your welfare and health. As a South Asian woman, I also aim to create a safe space for South Asians, recognizing that cultural stigmas can often make it difficult to seek therapy. I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School, which has equipped me with the skills to support you effectively. If you need someone to talk to in a judgment-free environment, I will be there.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I work with the client to determine what therapy approach they prefer best (structured, lenient, etc). My default method is psychoanalytical, but I always strive to personalize my methods to my client's individual needs.
