Hassie Soto, LPC

Psychotherapist
AZ
Hi there, I'm Hassie! I know it takes courage to reach out for support, and I don’t take that lightly. My approach to therapy is grounded in compassion, honesty, and meeting you exactly where you are. My approach I strive to make the therapy room a safe, comfortable, and even lighthearted space—because healing doesn't have to be heavy all the time. My focus I bring years of experience working with individuals navigating a wide range of challenges, from depression, anxiety, and mood disorders to more complex concerns such as life transitions, chronic health conditions, and post-traumatic stress. My practice is grounded in trauma-informed care and draws from a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and person-centered work. My communication style I’ve been doing this work for a long time, but that doesn’t make me the expert on you—you are the expert of your own life. My role is to walk alongside you, helping you explore what’s going on in your world, right here and now. If you're feeling ready to talk, I'm here to listen. Let’s figure things out together. My journey to mental healthcare My journey into counseling began with a very personal mission: understanding how to better support my two sons who have ADHD. This led me to earn my Bachelor's degree in Psychology. The insights I gained were invaluable at home, but they also sparked a deeper desire to help others. So, I continued my education, graduating with my Master's degree in Counseling in 2007. For the past 17 years, I've had the immense privilege of helping clients navigate their own paths and achieve their goals, and I truly love the work I do. My goals for you In our initial sessions, we'll work together to identify what you hope to achieve during therapy. We'll discuss specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and time-sensitive (SMART) goals tailored just for you.
