Getting to know Hayley Alkhafaji

My name is Hayley Alkhafaji, and I am a psychotherapist and licensed clinical social worker (LMSW-C, LCSW). I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, a Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Dakota, and an Associate’s degree from Lake Region State College. I currently provide remote/telehealth mental health therapy services to individuals residing in Michigan and North Dakota. I primarily work with youth, adolescents, and young adults. I have several years of experience administering mental health services in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I am passionate about mental health and empowering and supporting others. I believe in using a strength-based and client-centered approach, always focusing on the needs of my clientele. Most of my experience has been with youth, adolescents, and young adults. I absolutely love what I do, and I cannot wait to meet you and be a part of your therapeutic journey.

What should a new client know about working with you?

What I would love for all my new clients to know, is that as their therapist, I am someone who will be there to support them. I am someone who will not only support them, but empower them, and be by their side every step of the way. Think of me as your professional cheerleader! I treat my clients with the upmost respect, and work to ensure a safe, comfortable, and nonjudgmental environment where they can flourish and thrive. I am a kind, caring, empathetic individual, and am passionate about helping my clients live their best lives. I am proud of you for taking this step, and I can’t wait to meet you.
