Thank you for your willingness to begin a healing journey. I obtained a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University and have been a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas since 2019. I have experience providing care in multiple treatment settings, including private practice Christian counseling (in training/referrals), inpatient and outpatient facilities, primary and secondary educational settings, and group practice telehealth therapy services. I have provided treatment in both individual and group modalities for concerns such as dual diagnosis, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, and domestic violence. My approach to counseling centers on safety planning and recognizing when it is necessary to implement self-care skills. I utilize the CBT approach to help the individuals I serve increase their self-awareness of habits that may negatively affect well-being and relationships. I believe that ongoing mental health assessments can help improve quality of life. Once registered, you'll be able to log in to Tava to join your session, book additional sessions, and message your therapist. Appointments are for talk therapy over video. This therapist cannot provide medication prescriptions, emotional support animal (ESA) letters, or immigration psychological evaluations.
