Psychotherapist
UT
I’m a Clinical Mental Health Counselor who believes deeply in the power of storytelling, resilience, and the human capacity for transformation. My journey as a therapist began after earning my master’s degree with distinction in clinical mental health counseling. I started my work in residential treatment, where I specialized in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), supporting youth and families through healing, growth, and reconnection. Over the years, I’ve developed programs focused on human trafficking awareness and recovery, supervised other clinicians, and worked closely with diverse individuals and communities. I focus on helping people strengthen coping skills, improve attachment and communication, and create lasting behavioral change. Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years as a performer—a singer, dancer, and actor—which shaped my understanding of self-expression and emotional truth. As an Arizona native, I draw from both my creative roots and my life experiences, including overcoming personal challenges, to guide others through their own journeys of healing. For me, being a therapist is more than a career—it’s a calling to help others find meaning, peace, and empowerment in their stories. Please note: I am accepting new patients for ongoing therapy sessions. I do not provide medication management support.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe therapy is a sacred space for growth, awareness, and transformation. My approach is both compassionate and tailored—I meet you exactly where you are and walk beside you as we work toward healing. Together, we’ll explore the emotional, mental, and even spiritual layers of your experience, helping you connect more deeply with yourself and those around you. Whether we’re building new coping tools, strengthening communication, or processing trauma, my goal is to create a supportive and transcendent experience that honors your individuality. Every person has a unique story, and each story deserves to be seen, understood, and celebrated. Through that honoring, we find the peace and strength that allow us to move forward.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I start with a thorough evaluation to understand your history, current challenges, and priorities. Together, we create a personalized plan that may include medication management, therapy referrals, or lifestyle strategies to strengthen overall wellness. I check in regularly with patients, adjusting treatment as needed, and strive to create a safe and empathetic space where you feel comfortable working through challenges and moving toward lasting change.

After scheduling your appointment, you will receive an email from Stella Mental Health (formerly Numinus) containing your intake paperwork. Please allow about 30 minutes to complete this form. Your responses will help your provider prepare for your upcoming appointment. All patients are required to complete the intake form 24 business hours before their appointment. You will receive a phone call from one of our dedicated Care Advocates, who can answer any questions you may have. Please be prepared to provide a credit card to keep on file for co-pays or cancellation fees. Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full intake appointment fee ($292). During your intake appointment, you’ll spend 60 minutes with your provider collaborating on a treatment plan tailored to your needs. If in-person treatments are recommended—such as TMS, Spravato, DSR SGB, or ketamine therapy—our care team will guide you through the process and ensure you feel supported every step of the way.
