Thank you for considering me as your therapist. I believe that choosing the right clinician for your personal journey is very important. It is a brave decision you have made to come forward and start this personal quest. I will assist you in processing your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I will meet you where you are and allow your discoveries to guide the process. This will be done in a safe, nonjudgmental environment. Together, we will identify your strengths, areas for growth, and solutions. Often in therapy, insight and self-awareness grow, allowing us to develop our own answers and find direction. I believe we are the experts on our own lives, and sometimes having a trained professional to help guide us to our own answers is what we need. With over 25 years of experience as a licensed clinical social worker in community settings such as hospice and hospitals, I have worked with individuals through life transitions, relationships, grief, depression, and anxiety. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Central Florida. Some of the evidence-based approaches I use include Rogerian client-centered therapy, strengths and empowerment-based perspectives, solution-focused therapy, psychoeducation, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, mind-body connection concepts, psychocybernetics, emotional freedom therapy, mindfulness, and systems theory. The approaches used and your treatment plan are based on a thorough assessment of your needs and are as unique as you are. One of my specialties is working with individuals with complex medical issues and disabilities and/or their caregivers. This includes helping families navigate difficult decisions and finding the right resources when health issues arise.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
