What should a new client know about working with you?

My style is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I provide space for you to feel heard while helping you explore patterns, build on your strengths, and practice skills for everyday challenges. I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing, tailoring our work to your needs and goals. During your first visit, we’ll discuss what brought you to counseling, what’s been difficult, and what you hope to gain. You don’t need to have everything figured out—we’ll work together to identify a starting point at a pace that feels comfortable.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Sessions are held online through Headway, which also handles insurance and private-pay billing. Before your first visit, you’ll complete intake paperwork and provide your insurance or payment information through Headway. During our first session, we’ll review your history, discuss your concerns, and explore your goals for counseling. Together, we’ll develop a plan that fits your needs and discuss how often to meet. Ongoing sessions provide time to process experiences, build coping skills, and review your progress.
