Heather treats patients between the ages of 5 and 40 years old.
Heather graduated with her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, NC. She was active in her school’s chapter of Chi Sigma Lota, a national honor society for counselors. Heather’s graduate work primarily focused on the substance abuse population in an outpatient treatment setting, as well as working with children with behavioral diagnosis in the classroom setting. Heather is an Ohio native, but moved to North Carolina to follow her heart.
Heather enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults. She uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy techniques to help her clients break free from their mental chains and transform into their true self. She is passionate about helping people and watching them grow in their journey. Heather has experience working with children and youth with behavioral disorders; both in the classroom and group home setting. She has also worked closely with the Substance Abuse population in an outpatient treatment setting that offers medication maintenance.
Heather spends her free time with her husband, two fur babies, (Tucker and Texaco) and spoiling her nieces and nephews. She loves being outside and cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes!

During the LifeStance onboarding process, we will contact you to collect your payment card information.
