I am a licensed profession counselor offering teletherapy to all ages. I work with clients with emotional distress, behavioral issues, and mental illnesses affecting their quality of life.
I will actively and attentively listen to your unique therapeutic needs. We will create and individualized treatment plan combining the relevant evidence-based therapies. I will help you learn coping skills, navigate solutions, achieve positive changes, and enjoy their desired lives.
I earned my master of education degree in counseling from Virginia Tech. She participates in continuing education to stay ahead of mental health trends, research, and advancements.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I support individuals of all ages in managing mental health challenges, including anxiety/depression, trauma, grief, and mood disorders. For children's therapy, I emphasize collaborating with parents & caregivers to promote healthy development. My approach is tailored to each client's age, maturity, learning style, and interests, ensuring developmentally appropriate interventions. Teaching clients that overcoming cognitive, emotional, & behavioral challenges requires effort and perseverance. This perspective fosters resilience & personal growth, empowering clients to develop new skills for managing life's difficulties.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques along with Acceptance Commitment Theory. I believe in empowering every unique individual to find their strengths to accomplish their goals for counseling.
