What if there isn't something wrong with you? What if your anxiety, overwhelm, or self-doubt make more sense than you realize? I believe healing begins when we replace shame with curiosity. Too often, we criticize ourselves for the ways we've learned to survive instead of taking the time to understand them. I work primarily with women who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, the demands of everyday life, major life changes, fertility or perinatal challenges, or the lasting effects of religious trauma, including purity culture, church hurt, and questioning long-held beliefs. I also enjoy helping young adults navigate the transition into adulthood as they discover who they are and who they want to become. Together, we'll explore your story with honesty and compassion, connecting the dots between your past and present so your experiences begin to make sense in a new way. My goal isn't simply to help you manage symptoms—it's to help you better understand yourself, develop greater self-compassion, and create lasting change that aligns with the life you want to live. One of the greatest privileges of my work is walking alongside people as they rediscover hope, confidence, and trust in themselves.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Many of my clients tell me they feel comfortable opening up sooner than they expected. My style is warm, collaborative, and genuine, and I believe the best therapy happens when we work together as a team. I'll listen with curiosity rather than judgment while also gently challenging the beliefs and patterns that may no longer be serving you. I enjoy helping clients connect the dots—understanding not just what they're feeling, but why. Along the way, you'll find compassion, practical strategies when they're helpful, a little humor when the moment calls for it, and someone who truly believes you aren't broken. Sometimes we just need support making sense of our story so we can move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first sessions are about getting to know you—not just the challenges that brought you to therapy, but the experiences, relationships, and beliefs that have shaped who you are today. Rather than rushing to fix symptoms, we'll take time to understand them. I believe that understanding creates the foundation for meaningful and lasting change. As we move forward, we'll identify your goals and tailor therapy to your unique needs. Some sessions may focus on learning practical skills to manage anxiety or calm your nervous system. Others may involve processing painful experiences, exploring relationship patterns, or building a more compassionate relationship with yourself. Throughout the process, I'll walk alongside you, offering support, perspective, and gentle guidance as you build the confidence to move toward the life you want.
