My own experiences with mental health services reflect on the life experiences I was exposed to growing up. I realized that the answer was through education. It is these experiences that has been the inspiration that has lead to me choosing the profession of clinical social work. I have worked over 27 years in the field serving adults and adolescents with various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. My practice is an integration of resiliency and instilling self-sufficiency. My background encompasses the principles of the biopsychosocial model of treatment and the strength-based model of self autonomy.
