Hi! My name is Heidi and I am a licensed counselor who works primarily with children and teenagers. I received my Masters of Counseling from Plymouth State University in 2020 and have over 4 years of experience working with children and teens in private practice, school settings, and community mental health settings. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, eating disorders, anger management, and behavioral issues.

What should a new client know about working with you?

When working with clients, I seek to create and foster a warm and welcoming space. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy approaches.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During the first session, we will discuss presenting problems, reasons for seeking therapy, and goals to work on. These goals are formulated during intake collaboratively in order to make changes and improvements to improve overall functioning.
