Getting to know Helena Hawley-Grano

I really enjoy my work and provide a comfortable cheerful place here for you. I can handle most any problem with children, you and adults. Also couples and families! My ideal client is you! I am confident and highly train in areas of anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, trauma of all kinds, and everything else. I taught clinical classes at university and trained many young therapists. Therapy doesn’t have to be painful, we take small steps and it is not necessary to go into detail about bad things that have happened to you as I know how to help. I like to work with men who have difficulties with feelings or communication. I specialize in Latinx, native Americansand other marginalized and discriminated against groups. I have had a lot of success in 40 years and I don’t think you will regret it! I attended eight universities to gather knowledge and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Art History with minor in Psychology from University of New Mexico. I obtained a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from New Mexico Highlands University in 1987. I have worked as primarily an outpatient therapist in locations all around Northern New Mexico, I specialize in the mix of cultures here. I taught at NMHU Department of Social Work providing experiential clinical classes. I wrote mental health grants for the school districts in New Mexico which resulted in improvement in student performance. My real love is working with people, individuals, families and youth. I have been in this wonderful field for 43 years! I have seen many people change themselves! If you chose me, I will use every skill in a casual manner to help make you enjoy your life more! Helena
