Getting to know Henry Espinal
I specialize in working with individuals (primarily with those who identify as male) who want to get unstuck or unsure of those first steps for their desired life. My clients often feel a pressure to "have it all together" but inside, they're dealing with stress, doubt, or a loss of purpose. My mission is to give you a safe, interactive space to explore these issues, from deep-seated trauma to unspoken thoughts and life experiences. All so we can work towards finding clarity, building resilience, and aiding you into stepping into the next chapter of your life with confidence.

What should a new client know about working with you?
My specialty is helping individuals overcome anxiety and adapt to major life changes. I use a combination of proven therapeutic techniques and mindfulness to create a space for genuine growth. Think of me as a guide who walks alongside you, helping you find your own answers and build the skills needed to live with greater confidence and purpose.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Growing up in New York and New Jersey, I interacted with diverse communities and often realized I was surviving, not thriving. Through my own therapy and life experiences, I learned that even in the darkest moments, we still have choices. Change is possible. Now, I want to share that same hope I’ve (and continue too) cultivated with you.
My approach is guided by a nugget of wisdom from Avatar: The Last Airbender (thanks, Uncle Iroh!), "If you look for the light, you can often find it. But if you look for the dark, that is all you will ever see." Together, we’ll remember to focus on the light; this being your strengths, resilience, and capacity for growth. Remembering to be able to make in lives for those moments of positivity that may arise, to avoid being consumed by darkness or negativity our whole life.

The time spent as Henry’s client was amazing. He does his absolute best to make and create a very safe and welcoming space. While simultaneously doing a fantastic job at personalizing our sessions to me individually rather than constantly giving cookie cutter responses or suggestions. As someone who personally wasn’t too keen or open to the idea of therapy prior, I appreciated all the effort he would put into our sessions & the patience he had as i was opening up to the idea of therapy. He definitely made a massive impact on changing my opinion and outlook after seeing the results of our sessions week after week. I would personally highly recommend him to anyone who was looking on getting into therapy or even returning to therapy.
